1. Scope
This policy explains how billing, subscriptions, prepaid credits, cancellations, and refunds work for Forkline.
2. Billing model
Forkline may offer:
- recurring monthly subscriptions;
- one-off purchases of prepaid usage credits;
- promotional discounts, bonus credits, or trial allocations.
3. Monthly subscriptions
Subscription plans may include a set number of daily credit hours.
For the purposes of these terms, a “month” or “monthly” subscription period means the one-month period beginning on the date the user subscribes to the product and ending on the corresponding date of the following calendar month.
Daily usage is measured on a rolling 24-hour period that begins when the user first uses the service. The daily included credit hours may be used at any time within that 24-hour period.
Included daily credit hours are consumed before any separately purchased credit balance.
4. Purchased credits
Purchased credits are prepaid usage units used to access or extend service usage.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase:
- purchased credits are non-transferable;
- purchased credits are not redeemable for cash;
- purchased credits are non-refundable except where mandatory law requires otherwise;
- purchased credits do not expire while the account remains active;
- purchased credits may be forfeited once account deletion becomes final after the applicable deletion window.
5. Promotions or discounts
Promotional or bonus credits may be subject to different conditions announced with the promotion.
6. Payments
Payments, subscription billing, and related invoicing or tax workflows may be handled by Stripe or another provider identified at checkout or in the account billing interface. You authorize us and the applicable payment or billing provider to charge the applicable payment method for purchases, subscriptions, taxes, and other amounts due.
You are responsible for keeping your billing details current.
7. Subscription renewals
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled.
You can cancel renewal at any time before the next billing cycle starts. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, unless a different rule is clearly stated in the plan interface.
8. Price changes
We may change prices, plan terms, or included usage allocations from time to time. For recurring subscriptions, material price changes will apply prospectively after notice through the product, email, or checkout flow.
9. Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, suspend access to paid features, remove access to subscriptions or usage, or cancel the subscription after reasonable retry attempts.
10. Refunds
Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable.
This includes:
- used subscription periods;
- partially used billing periods;
- purchased credits;
- unused purchased credits.
Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable refund, withdrawal, or consumer rights that apply under mandatory law.
11. Withdrawal and digital services
If mandatory consumer law grants you a right of withdrawal, that right will apply only to the extent required by law. Where legally permitted, you acknowledge that immediate access to digital services, subscriptions, or prepaid usage may affect or limit withdrawal rights once performance has begun.
The exact withdrawal outcome may depend on whether the relevant service has already been activated, used, or fully performed.
12. Cancellation and deletion
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically delete the account.
If you request account deletion, the account may remain recoverable for up to 30 days. During that window, remaining purchased credits may remain associated with the account. If the account is not reactivated and deletion becomes final, remaining purchased credits are forfeited. Relevant billing, compliance, and secure backup records may remain for longer where reasonably necessary or legally required.
13. Chargebacks and fraud
If a payment is reversed, charged back, or reasonably suspected to be fraudulent, we may suspend access, reverse granted credits where technically possible, refuse future purchases, or take other reasonable action to protect the service.
14. Contact
Billing questions, cancellation questions, or complaints may be sent to support@forkline.dev.
