Forkline Brand Guidelines
Last updated: 2026-03-16
1. Purpose
These Brand Guidelines explain the limited ways in which third parties may refer to Forkline and use Forkline brand features.
2. Forkline brand features
"Forkline brand features" include the Forkline name, logos, product names, slogans, icons, interface imagery, screenshots, visual identifiers, and other source-identifying materials associated with Forkline.
3. What is generally allowed without prior written approval
You may make truthful, non-misleading, nominative references to Forkline only when reasonably necessary to identify our services, for example to say that your team uses Forkline or that your product integrates with Forkline.
Any such reference must:
- accurately describe the relationship;
- avoid suggesting that Forkline sponsors, endorses, certifies, or is affiliated with you unless that is actually true and separately authorized in writing;
- use the current brand name as published by Forkline; and
- avoid altering the meaning, presentation, or context of the reference in a misleading way.
4. What requires prior written permission
You must obtain Forkline's prior written permission before you:
- use any Forkline logo, icon, wordmark, or stylized brand asset;
- use Forkline's name or brand features in advertising, promotions, press releases, case studies, investor materials, or merchandise;
- state or imply that Forkline endorses, approves, certifies, or partners with you;
- use Forkline screenshots or interface imagery in public-facing materials beyond fair and minimal referential use; or
- use Forkline's brand features in titles of applications, products, events, publications, or services.
5. Prohibited uses
You must not:
- use Forkline brand features in a misleading, defamatory, infringing, obscene, unlawful, or disparaging context;
- register or use domain names, social handles, package names, app names, or other identifiers that are identical or confusingly similar to Forkline brand features;
- modify, distort, animate, recolor, or combine Forkline logos or other brand assets with other marks without permission;
- use Forkline brand features more prominently than your own branding when referring to your own products or services;
- imply that content, code, templates, GPTs, agents, or integrations are official Forkline offerings when they are not; or
- use Forkline brand features in connection with activity that violates Forkline's Terms, Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law.
6. Reservation of rights
Forkline reserves all rights in and to its brand features. These Guidelines do not grant ownership of or any goodwill in Forkline brand features.
Forkline may revoke permission to use its brand features at any time.
7. Questions and approvals
Requests for permission and brand-related questions may be sent to legal@forkline.dev.
