In these Terms, "Forkline", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator identified above.
2. Scope of the service
Forkline provides a cloud software platform that enables users to run cloud coding agents, connect third-party development and model-provider services, and use hosted development environments and related tooling.
Forkline does not provide the underlying third-party LLM services, source-code hosting services, or external accounts that users choose to connect. Users remain responsible for their own third-party accounts, credentials, repositories, prompts, data, instructions, permissions, and resulting actions.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you satisfy these requirements.
4. Account registration and security
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials;
- controlling access to your account and connected third-party services;
- all activities carried out through your account; and
- promptly notifying us at
support@forkline.devif you believe your account or connected credentials have been compromised.
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the Services, other users, third-party systems, or our rights.
5. Third-party integrations and credentials
The Services may allow you to connect third-party accounts and services, including source-code hosting services, model providers, and related infrastructure or developer tools. You authorize us to use the access credentials, tokens, keys, and permissions that you provide solely to operate the features you request.
You are solely responsible for:
- obtaining valid rights to use any connected third-party service;
- ensuring that your use of third-party services complies with their terms and policies;
- deciding what repositories, prompts, files, data, and actions the Services may access;
- reviewing all outputs, code, changes, and actions before relying on them or deploying them.
We are not responsible for third-party services, third-party outages, model behavior, pricing changes, token limits, API restrictions, repository actions, or other consequences caused by your selected providers or your instructions.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the Services only in compliance with applicable law, these Terms, and the Acceptable Use Policy. You must not use the Services to:
- violate any law or third-party right;
- access or interfere with systems, repositories, or data without authorization;
- upload or process malicious code, malware, or harmful content;
- attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or abuse the platform;
- bypass quotas, pricing rules, security measures, or access restrictions;
- use the Services in connection with illegal, infringing, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive activity.
We may investigate suspected misuse and suspend or terminate access where necessary.
7. Plans, subscriptions, and credits
Forkline may offer subscription plans and separate prepaid usage credits.
Subscription plans may include a set number of daily credit hours.
For the purposes of these terms, a “month” or “monthly” subscription period means the one-month period beginning on the date the user subscribes to the product and ending on the corresponding date of the following calendar month.
Daily usage is measured on a rolling 24-hour period that begins when the user first uses the service. The daily included credit hours may be used at any time within that 24-hour period.
Included daily credit hours are consumed before any separately purchased credit balance.
Purchased credits are prepaid usage units used to access or extend service usage.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase:
- purchased credits are non-transferable;
- purchased credits are not redeemable for cash;
- purchased credits are non-refundable except where mandatory law requires otherwise;
- purchased credits do not expire while the account remains active;
- purchased credits may be forfeited once account deletion becomes final after the applicable deletion window.
Promotional pricing, trial credits, discounts, or bonus credits may be subject to additional conditions shown at the time of offer.
8. Billing and payments
Payments, subscription billing, and related invoicing or tax workflows may be handled by Stripe or another provider identified at checkout or in your account billing interface. By purchasing a subscription or credits, you authorize the applicable payment or billing provider to charge the selected payment method for all amounts due, including recurring charges where applicable.
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing information. Pricing, currency, billing cycle, and taxes are shown at checkout or in the applicable account interface.
We may change pricing from time to time. For recurring subscriptions, changes will apply prospectively after reasonable notice, except where immediate changes are required by law, tax rules, or third-party payment requirements.
9. Cancellation, deletion, and termination
You may cancel a subscription at any time through the product interface or by contacting support@forkline.dev. Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your account.
You may request account deletion. When a deletion request is submitted, the account enters a deletion window of up to 30 days, during which reactivation may be possible. At the end of that period, the account will be permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymized, except for data that must be retained longer to comply with law, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain suppression records, or protect the security and integrity of the Services. Deleted data may also remain in secure encrypted backups for a limited period until overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if we reasonably believe that:
- you have materially breached these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
- your use creates security, legal, operational, or reputational risk;
- we are required to do so by law or a competent authority;
- continued service is not technically or commercially feasible.
10. Intellectual property
We retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including the platform, software, branding, documentation, and related intellectual property, except for rights that are expressly granted to you.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Services for their intended purpose.
You retain rights you hold in your own inputs and content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, transmit, process, adapt, display, and otherwise use that content solely as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, support, and enforce the Services and these Terms, and to comply with law.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary rights to any repositories, prompts, code, files, data, and materials you submit, connect, generate, publish, or instruct the Services to use.
All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved.
11. Brand features and trademark restrictions
Forkline, its logos, product names, slogans, interface elements, and other brand features are protected by applicable trademark, copyright, and unfair-competition laws.
Unless we expressly permit it in writing or in separate brand guidelines, you must not:
- use the Forkline name, logo, or branding in a way that implies affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship, certification, or partnership;
- register, use, or traffic in domain names, social handles, package names, app names, or other identifiers that are identical or confusingly similar to Forkline branding;
- remove, obscure, or alter proprietary notices, attribution, or rights-management information associated with the Services; or
- use Forkline marks, screenshots, or product imagery in advertising, promotional materials, metadata, or public communications in a misleading or disparaging way.
Limited nominative references that truthfully identify Forkline are permitted only where they do not create confusion and comply with any published brand guidelines.
12. Outputs, code changes, and user responsibility
The Services may generate code, text, commands, configurations, recommendations, or automated actions. You understand and agree that:
- outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, insecure, or unsuitable;
- outputs may not be unique and may resemble or reproduce third-party materials, including materials subject to copyright, trademark, or open-source license terms;
- automated actions may have unintended consequences;
- you are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, validating, and approving all outputs and actions before use, deployment, or reliance;
- you are solely responsible for checking whether outputs, code, or other materials require notices, attribution, license compliance, permissions, or other legal review before internal use, publication, commercialization, or deployment; and
- you are solely responsible for any repositories, environments, infrastructure, data, or systems affected by your use of the Services.
Forkline does not accept responsibility for losses arising from your prompts, instructions, connected services, deployment decisions, repository permissions, or reliance on generated outputs.
13. Copyright and trademark complaints
If you believe content available through the Services infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights, please send a notice to legal@forkline.dev with enough information for us to investigate, including:
- your name and contact information;
- a description of the protected work, mark, or other material at issue;
- the exact location of the allegedly infringing material, such as the relevant account, workspace, repository reference, URL, or other identifier;
- a description of the basis for your claim and, where applicable, evidence that you own or are authorized to enforce the rights;
- a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law; and
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, where permitted by law, made under penalty of perjury, together with your physical or electronic signature.
We may remove or disable access to material that we reasonably believe may infringe rights, investigate the matter, request additional information, notify the affected user where appropriate, and take repeat-infringer action.
If you believe material was removed or restricted by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to legal@forkline.dev explaining why you believe the claim was erroneous or the use was authorized.
14. Repeat infringer policy
We may suspend or terminate accounts, workspaces, integrations, or access privileges of users who repeatedly or materially infringe copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights, or who repeatedly submit unfounded infringement complaints.
15. Service availability and changes
We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Services at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, availability in every country, or continued support for any particular feature, model provider, integration, or environment.
16. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or that outputs will meet your expectations or requirements.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot be lawfully excluded under mandatory law.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, and provided that we have exercised reasonable care and diligence in providing the Services, we will only be responsible for losses or damages that:
- result directly from our breach of these Terms; and
- were reasonably foreseeable at the time you accepted these Terms.
We will not be liable for any loss or damage that arises from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful under applicable law. You retain all rights granted to you under the consumer protection and other mandatory laws applicable to you.
18. Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Forkline and its operator from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to:
- your use of the Services;
- your content, repositories, prompts, code, or data;
- your use of third-party integrations or credentials;
- your breach of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law.
19. Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the law of your country of residence. Where mandatory local consumer law grants you rights that differ from these Terms, those mandatory rights prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
If you are a consumer, you may also have the benefit of mandatory rights and forum protections under the law of your country of residence.
If a dispute arises, please contact us first at legal@forkline.dev so we can attempt to resolve it. Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, disputes will be submitted to the courts of Madrid, Spain.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when published, unless a later effective date is stated. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
