Runner Environment

Each Forkline runner comes with a comprehensive set of pre-installed development tools, languages, and runtimes. No setup required—just start coding.

Installed Tooling Versions

Installed versions come from a machine-readable manifest that agents can fetch directly:

The JSON object maps a tool name to its installed version string inside one key per group: os (name and version), python, nodejs, go, rust, npm_packages, apt_packages, and binaries (split into cli_tools, compression, docker_kubernetes, python_tools). generated_at and ubuntu_version describe when and on which image the manifest was built.
